What Is Cavity Wall Insulation?

Cavity wall insulation is a great way to save energy and reduce your home’s carbon footprint. With the Eco4 Grant Scheme, homeowners can take advantage of government funding to make their homes more energy-efficient by installing cavity wall insulation.
Cavity walls are constructed with two layers of brickwork with a gap, or cavity, in between. Cavity wall insulation involves injecting insulation material into this gap to reduce heat loss from the property. This can result in significant energy savings and a reduction in heating bills.

The Eco4 Grant Scheme is part of the UK government’s efforts to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions. The scheme provides funding for homeowners to make energy-efficient improvements to their homes. Cavity wall insulation is just one of the many measures covered by the scheme.
